Daily Bulletin

Central Lee High School Bulletin for Wednesday, August 26, 2026

🎯 Attendance Matters — 95%! Our goal is 95% attendance or better. That means aiming for 3 or fewer excused absences per semester, unless circumstances have been specifically approved. You can't learn what you aren't here for—and in a block schedule, missing one day means missing a LOT of class time. Showing up matters! 💪

📝 Schedules You may add or drop a class through August 31. A few reminders: • You may NOT change classes just to be with your friends. 😉 • After August 31, administration reserves the right to adjust schedules when necessary to balance class sizes.

🥪LUNCH🥪 We will continue adjusting lunch periods as needed to balance numbers. During lunch: • 🧹 You are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. • Trays AND trash go back into the lunchroom. • Stay in the commons or lunchroom for your entire lunch period. • 🚫 The academic hallway is closed during lunch unless you have a pass. Leave the space better than you found it!

🎭Speech Team🎭 If you are interested in joining speech team, please be sure to attend the speech team meeting in Mrs. Gillip's room at 3:30pm on September 1st. Questions - see Mr. Cole or Mrs. Gillip for more information.

🔋 iPads Your iPad needs to come to school CHARGED every day. 🔌 Your iPad is one of your school tools—make charging it part of your nightly routine.

📒 FREE Planners! Trying to get yourself organized this year? We have FREE planners in the office! 🙌 Come grab one. Your future self will thank you.

🚌 Bus Riders If you ride the bus home: Go directly to the cafeteria after school to wait for your bus. Bus riders should not be in the parking lot.

🚪 Coming Late or Leaving Early? If you arrive late OR need to leave school early, you must sign in or out through the office. We need to know who is in our building at all times.

eSports Meeting There will be an esports meeting Thursday morning at 8:00 AM. If you're interested in joining the team, streaming, or just curious and want to learn more about the program, come check it out! We take gamers of all skill levels. More details will be shared at the meeting. Hope to see you there!

ABC's If you remember nothing else, remember these three things: A — Appropriate Language 🗣️ Keep your language school appropriate. B — Be Where You Are Supposed to Be! 📍 At all times! Class, lunch, SOAR, before school, after school—be where you belong. C — Courteousness Always 😊 That means: • 📵 Cell phones away during instructional time. • "Mr." and "Mrs." when addressing adults. • Please and thank you. • Kindness and respect go a LONG way.

👕 Dress Code = Time & Place I love style as much as you do! 😎 But school still has to be school. Our easiest rule to remember: More skin should be covered than showing. ⚠️ Use some caution with short shirts + short bottoms. That combination tends to equal more skin showing than covered. If you have to wonder whether it works for school, it might be a better weekend outfit.

🚗 Parking Lot & Cars If you drive, PLEASE be especially careful in the parking lot. There are lots of cars and people moving at the same time. Also: 🎒 Bring everything you need in from your car when you arrive. Trips back to the parking lot during the school day will be limited.

⏰ Before & After School The building is open to students from 7:45 a.m.–3:45 p.m. unless you are participating in a school-sponsored activity. If your practice or activity is later in the day, you are encouraged to go home and return rather than staying at school for several hours. Students staying beyond 3:45 need special permission from the office.

🚗Fall Drivers Ed🚗 Sign up is in the office if you are interested please see up; Classes start in October!
